Günter Gerlach

was born in the State of Niedersachsen in Germany. He first studied engineering in Braunschweig - Wolfenbüttel, Germany before moving to Switzerland. Günter studied architecture at the famed ETH Zürich Switzerland under Prof. Dietmar Eberle and at the RMIT University in Melbourne Australia.

He holds architectural degrees from both Schools as well as a degree in engineering from the University of Applied Science in Braunschweig – Wolfenbüttel, Germany.

Günter was the co-founder and design principal of Inova  Basel Switzerland from 1996 to 2004.
He is the founder of studio architecture GESTALTEN, is a registered architect of Victoria Australia, and a Member of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects.
