Michael Wright has a wide-ranging track record in landscape design and construction, having worked on projects at every scale from small private courtyards to entire new city plans. He has also worked as a horticulturist, stonemason, design-construct contractor, and for two years was a lecturer in design at the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Michael’s 30 years of experience underpins his approach to the resolution of projects from conception to detail. His intuitive responses to each project are site based and result in unique design approaches for every landscape and urban design proposition.

Catherine Rush

Catherine Rush has worked on numerous high profile public urban projects in Australia. These include the Shrine of Remembrance, Victoria and Docklands Park Melbourne—both AILA award-winning projects.

She is widely accepted in the profession as being uniquely gifted in design generation and representation, and as Design Director is responsible for the creative direction of the practice. Her experience as an urban designer brings a complementary focus to the partnership, enabling us to maintain a sense of the ‘big picture’ while working on detailed design problems.

Catherine’s experience in project design extends across a broad range of project types and scales – multi residential, hospitals, schools and university campuses, small residential and memorial design.

Public domain projects include the design of the major parks for International City, Dubai, the University of Canberra Masterplan, and the Botanic Village Masterplan for PEET Properties.

Cassandra Chilton

With over 17 years experience as a landscape architect Cassandra Chilton's folio includes major urban landscape works in Victoria and South Australia. To all of these projects she has brought an interest in how to connect people to their environments.

Trained in both landscape architecture and gold and silversmithing Cassandra’s design ethos is centred around craft, materiality, people and place. Her approach ensures a strong sense of place and narrative is imbued into every element of the design, from the arrangement and detailed design of elements through to the material selection, engendering community ownership, identity and belonging.

As a design leader, Cassandra has the knowledge and capacity to drive the landscape architectural conceptual process and is committed to achieving high quality design in built outcomes that not only meet the many functional requirements, but also are identifiable and engaging spaces that elevate the everyday experience of all users.

Cassandra has written for Landscape Australia and Architecture Australia, and is a Creative Director for the 2019 International AILA Festival of Landscape Architecture.
