One of several infrastructure projects undertaken across Australia by the practice in 2012. Stations and transport interchanges have become much more than transit hubs; they are becoming the nexus of community interaction in all our cities. The South Morang Rail Station is a dramatic place-maker, converging ideas about threshold to travel and urban marker. As such, it is a catalyst along with other future stations in Melbourne’s north for mixed use precincts to evolve around them.
